Located 13 km south of Poitiers, the commune of La Villedieu-du-Clain is made up of rolling plains and wooded areas Formerly a Templar commandery, it is home to the Saint-Jean-Baptiste church which has been classified as a historical monument since 1907. The building with its Romanesque façade dates from the 12th century and the nave was rebuilt in the 19th century. Its green spaces make it ideal for long walks and bike rides. 13 marked circuits on 206 km of VTC paths are proposed. Perfect for walking around the township with your family! You can also take advantage of the local market which is held on the church square every Tuesday from 8am to 1pm
