MARATHON POITIERS-FUTUROSCOPE

Good stride and running shoes mandatory! This is the annual meeting of running fans. In May, experienced, occasional and motivated runners sign up for the race of their choice among the 5 and 10 kilometers in the framework of the Tout Poitiers Court on Saturday afternoon from 5 pm in the park of Blossac, or the half-marathon and the marathon on Sunday morning for the early risers (8:15 am). Let's go for a 21 or 42 kilometers course, from downtown Poitiers to the Futuroscope site in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou! The starting shot is given at the place du Maréchal Leclerc. The finish line is in front of the Futuroscope congress center. The roads are blocked for this occasion and a large number of supporters come to support the brave ones! As every year, the objective is double: endurance and time! The atmosphere is sporty, friendly, thanks to the 800 volunteers mobilized, to give desire to run to those who had not even thought of it. Don't forget to register online, starting in September, to be part of the nearly 3,700 pavement burners who will come to encourage you all along the course!
