This small village of 200 inhabitants is located 13 km from Montmorillon. It is inseparable from its impressive medieval castle. However, the village itself also offers a natural heritage marked by hedgerows and valleys that are worth a visit, which includes three ZNIEFF, natural areas of ecological, faunistic and floristic interest. These are the Landes de Sainte-Marie, the Salleron valley and the Landes de Montmorillon.
