The highest point in the Vienne, Adriers is also one of the largest municipalities in the department. In the heart of a beautiful hilly countryside, streams and ponds abound as well as farm fields which represent the main landscape of Adriers. This town, like many, has developed around its church, the church of Saint-Hilaire. Built in the medieval period, it has a rather singular fortified facade which allowed it to welcome refugees, soldiers, cattle during the incessant conflicts which took place in the Middle Ages. In summer, it is possible to refresh oneself by swimming in the pond
