Vasles (1,700 inhabitants) is best known for its Mouton Village animal park, created at the end of the 1980s with the idea of reviving the local economy and sheep farming. Since 2007, it has been home to the Ecole de la laine, a training center for the wool industry (from sorting to weaving and dyeing). It also has a small architectural heritage, the Sainte-Radegonde church, rebuilt in 1901 with its original stained glass windows, the abbesses' dwelling of Sainte-Croix (rue du Soufflet, 15th century) or the château de la Sayette and its original watering place. Finally, you should know that Vasles has its own netball team...
