Argentonnay, nestled in the bocage, offers a multitude of points of interest. Alongside the Les Vallées amusement park, you'll discover a fascinating architectural heritage: Saint-Georges church (destroyed by the Huguenots in 1569 and rebuilt in 1609), the Ebaupinay and Sanzay castles (13thand 14th centuries). The latter is occupied by La Colporteuse, a dynamic association that organizes a variety of events. Take a dip in Lac d'Hautibus, go kayaking on the Argenton or take a stroll along the old tramway line (1.6 km circuit). The tourist office is open in summer (9, place Léopold-Bergeon).
