A small village of 1,900 inhabitants, first documented in 980, today boasts a number of interesting sights. One of these is the beautifully restored château-mairie, where a panoramic wallpaper from the 1825 period has been carefully preserved. The site, listed as a Monument Historique, is surrounded by a charming wooded park where you can stroll among the rare species and enjoy a picnic. Also worth seeing are the superb orangery, the bread oven and the Bujaïe museum. A 3.2 km walk explores the Baril reach and its washhouses. The 18th-century Lens estate is not open to the public.
