LES 24 HEURES DE LA BARQUE
Petit Futé's opinion on LES 24 HEURES DE LA BARQUE
That it is good to sail through the currents of the Poitevin Marsh, to let these calm and welcoming waters the time of a sunny afternoon. But there's to do it for 24 hours. Well, there is a step in the middle of a quarter of a century that prisoners of the rame have gone through every year. Nuance with the Rallye du Marais, here the point of riddles and risks to lose because it is a race in strict sense that takes place on a circuit and that the rule is no simpler: the one who loop the most rounds has won. But no panic, not the penalty of row as a frenetic to cross the finish line first. Here, the important is elsewhere, just like the Rallye du Marais. The important thing is to offer a beautiful and long walk through the méconnus and unsung tributaries of the marsh, to play self-tamponneuses (gently however) with other competitors and to savour the encouragement of the public throughout the course. Many of them are worth winning, including a trip for 4 people in the Balearic Islands or Tunisia.
