Canteen very simple, very good and very friendly offering two formulas to choose from.

La cantine du parc Les oiseaux du Marais Poitevin, a great place to stop. On the terrace, you can dine on organic produce from the short circuit. Everything is very simple, very good and very convivial. You're served a choice of 2 formulas: the Egaille, which includes crudités, salad, Vendée ham and local goat's cheese; and the Maraîchine, which complements the Egaille with a cassolette of mogettes and a farci poitevin. For dessert, try angelica. Burdock, comfrey, hops, nettle: the house guides you through the edible plants of the Marais.
