FROM QOC TO A DONKEY

Du Coq à l'âne is a 7-hectare eco-friendly animal park and breeding facility dedicated to the Poitou donkey and several unusual species, such as the llama. It is also an artisanal soap factory (the Cornet house) specializing in fresh donkey milk cosmetics: the sweets you are going to offer yourself will bear the names of their contributors... The visit of the installations lasts 2 hours and is accompanied by a notebook of the adventurer for the small ones, punctuated with enigmas (a notebook of the biodiversity for the older ones). You will participate in some of the highlights of life on the farm: feeding the parrots, parakeets, alpacas and milking the donkeys.

In addition to the visit, Du Coq à l'âne organizes a plethora of leisure activities. You can take part in the archery challenge, try your hand at cage ball, explore the Georgette, the hiking trail (2 hours, with free roadbook), ride a donkey or a bicycle accompanied by a guide. New in 2022: you have the possibility to walk through the Green Venice in a rosalie.

This little off-grid paradise invites you to spend the night under a superb starry sky inside 2 warm and brand new domes. You can also enjoy the safari style lodge tents with a 180° view on the park and its residents, or the trapper style Canadian tent. And that's not all: 3 guest rooms will delight all those who like classic accommodations.

You can eat at the restaurant l'Ânarosé, a great specialist in home-made eel and donkey milk ice cream.
