Céline and Alexandre, the charming tavernkeepers, have set up their own delicatessen and beer and wine cellar in a half-timbered house: over 200 references of craft beers from around the world are beautifully displayed on the shelves. As well as tasting the beverages, you'll also find a wide range of delicacies and spreads. Follow the spiral staircase upstairs for a game of pool. Great atmosphere.

Practically under the Porte Saint-Jacques, at the end of Rue Vau-saint-Jacques, a troquet-pub-night bar where you can get away from it all on weekends. Le Coupe-Gorge, brewer of beer and music: concerts are organized every opening night; the program is announced well in advance on the storefront. The house brews its beverages by hand (using organic ingredients, as do the grapes). In summer, you can enjoy these nuggets on the terrace beside the Thouet river. A few years ago, Le Rouge-Gorge, a self-managed nest of solidarity ideas, settled in the center of Parthenay, organizing a host of events including Gratiferia, every^2nd Saturday of the month: a free market where you can take without giving and vice versa (clothes, knick-knacks, books, etc.). A fervent organizer of concerts and games evenings, this associative venue also plays an active role in the FLIP. A haven for the local artistic and underground scene.

Concert hall for contemporary music with an eclectic program. Hip-hop, dub, rock, metal, mix, the association offers a wide range of sounds: one or two concerts are organized every month. Diff'art is also distinguished by its educational will.
