Second club in the prefecture of Les Deux-Sèvres, Niort athletic rugby club evolves in the shadow of its large neighbour the Niortais Stadium. The CRAN, at the regional level, has topped itself with a nice record in the last few seasons. In 2009, the Niortais removed the regional title of the second regional series. The following year, they won the first series shield. This season, CRAN changes at the regional level and will try to enrich its trophy cupboard again.
