THE GREEN FLOW

This is the rendezvous of all fans of bitumen in the region. The semi marathon has been meeting the inmates of the race on foot over the last 21 years and its km lighthouse. A growing notoriety with between 5 000 and 6 000 participants and the very popular «international» label awarded by the French Athletics Federation. Organised jointly by the associations Run in Deux-Sèvres and the Stadium niortais athletics, this ordeal becomes the heart of animation of the city for a whole weekend at the end of October. For two years now, a Tivoli has been set up on the square of the Hole around which the events and the village of partners each year are growing. A race that attracts more than the size of the course race with each year a beautiful plateau of amateur participants, but also professional since for some time the laurels are trustés by specialists coming from the African continent. And all participants don't hesitate to hand over the bib over the next few years to open the lungs, but also open their eyes to the path they're simmered with a beautiful walk in the humidity, calm and beauty of the Poitevin Marsh.
