By limiting the collection of the milk needed to make this soft gold to a circle of 50 km and 140 producers, the Echiré dairy aims to stay as close as possible to its terroir. Its membership of the AOC Charentes-Poitou "Beurre des Deux-Sèvres" label is well-deserved. Among the products available, in addition to the mild and semi-salted ranges, is a "drier" butter, specially designed for cooking and pastry-making, with the particularity of revealing only 14% moisture.
