The second class course is located only on lots of the public domain accessible by road and slipway. All of these lots are very fish (beware, tanches, brèmes, ablettes, pike, coconut, black-bass and perch). Fishing "à la Vermée" is practised, a specificity of the Marais to fish the eel. A pontoon for anyone with reduced mobility is available in the Lieu Marsh. Attention: route of "Graciation" (no-kill) black-bass on the Lecourbe Niortaise between the locks of the Marais and the Sotterie.
