Things to see and do Autry-Issards

After several years of work, the Saint-Maurice priory opened up to the visit, for the delight of history lovers. Indeed, the monument is very old, since it dates back to the very early Bourbons, well before the year. He was rescued for many years by a couple of Dutch, Aart and Will De Vries, who rebuilt it by respecting archival documents. The visits being free (only a few dates in summer), you would be wrong to deprive you of a small walk…

This church is in Romanesque style. Built in the th century, the parish of Autry-Issards was connected to the Châtellenie of Bourbon, and belonged to the Diocese of Bourges. The church of the Holy Trinity relèvait of the Benedictine priory of Montet-aux-Moines. Here you can find an intriguing th-century painting of Flemish influence and another non-signed wooden canvas dating from the th century.
