Large-capacity gîte in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, in the town of Arçais.

This former hotel on the edge of the conche has been transformed into two gîtes that can be rented separately or together. Formerly market garden houses, they offer an authentic stay in the heart of the Marais Poitevin. They are called "Les enfants du Marais" and "Chez Dame Grenouille", and together they can accommodate up to 30 people. Renovated in an environmentally-friendly approach that respects traditional housing, the Domaine de Flore cottages are beautifully decorated and set in 3,500 m² of canal-side parkland .

Nous avons séjourné pour 3 nuits à la Maison Flore pour une première visite du marais Poitevin. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la région et l'accès direct à l'embarcadère un vrai plus qui nous a permis de profiter du calme du marais chaque matin. Les chambres sont très confortables et décorées avec soin, l'accueil parfait, les petit déjeuners de bonne qualité et l'espace extérieur en bordure de marais invite à la détente dans les hamacs. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

We had already there stay 3 nights and this time Ci made the visit on a holiday trip to return to spend one night. The welcome is always warm and personalized. The different rooms all have a relaxing decor. Breakfast is full and offer a range of organic products. The location is exceptional and preserved. Closed parking is more pleasant. The adjoining pier too. In short, C" is a haven of peace.

Location: ideal for visiting the marais.
Room and Shower Room: Shower only due to ecology (gel of provided shower and soap), very pleasant with the charming simple but.
Petits Déjêuners: Self stocked, house and organic.
Assets: Closed parking.
+: a management that made all bookings restaurants and we let us have the surprise to see us with either cafes, or aperitifs, including 10% on the Bardet pier.
We will go back here as the lack of time did not allow us to make a carriage, the marais bike...
