More than a simple green space, the meadow of La Palu is an environmental jewel which shelters numerous animal species. During a visit to Saintes, you can both stroll through the pedestrian streets and reach this site on the banks of the Charente in a few steps for a real breath of fresh air. You will have the opportunity to see the birds that hide behind the reedbeds like a sparrowhawk, kestrels, but also a black kite returning from migration. my children loved one to do a little walk on foot has bike also there are benches for " déguster" the view of this place is quiet listen to the birdsong between noon and two C are very well to have a break
