Seafood based on fresh and seasonal products in a restaurant with terrace offering a beautiful view of the port of Ré.
This restaurant is unique by its position, far from the bustle of the port of St. Martin. To find it, you must go to the island and to the end of the jetty. The location is idyllic, offering the calm of a terrace in the south with a breathtaking view of the harbour. The interior is just as beautiful. The bourgeois house of the th century is enough to offer a magical charm. In this chic bistro we appreciate the beautiful products, fresh and seasonal and it is seen on plates. At lunch, the formula makes it possible to take pleasure at a reasonable price given the quality of the meal: tartare of tuna, crunchy cucumber cucumber, superposition of cod and piquillos and sweetness of raspberry. In the evening, in the cosy atmosphere, each one will relive the dishes of a map that highlights the sea: fish carpaccio flavoured carrots carrots, back of Saint-Pierre roast or octopus cooked in its broth. The desserts - called sweets - provide a last moment of pleasure: The inescapable chocolate flowing alongside the bitter citrus fruit served with an orange caramel.

Nous avons tous les deux pris le tartare terre mer qui était très sympa avec l'addition du foie gras. En plat, j'ai pris la poêlée de langoustines et de casserons, servi sur un risotto au chorizo et piquillos...c'était sublime !! Le chorizo n'était pas trop fort, juste assez pour relever le plat, et les langoustines et les casserons savoureux et parfaitement cuits. C'était un de nos meilleurs plats des vacances !
Mon ami n'a malheureusement pas été aussi chanceux - son cabillaud farci aux coquillages étant très, très petit, trop cuit, et généralement pas très savoureux. Il y avait bien plus de légumes dans l'assiette, et peu de farce aussi. Pourtant, le cabillaud n'est pas le poisson le plus cher...ceci dit, la serveuse à gracieusement accepté de changer son plat pour la poêlée de langoustines et on était finalement tous les deux ravis de notre plat :)
En dessert nous avons aussi été bluffés par le Paris-Ré...vraiment excellent et parfait à partager à deux !
Question tarif, avec des fois une vingtaine d'euros de plus par rapport au port vous aurez cette fois-ci mis vos papilles en effervescence.
Rien à redire avec une vue calme et panoramique sur le port.
Une soirée apaisante à deux pas de la foule.
