A lighthouse that invites you to relax and enjoy Saint-Georges-de-Didonne.
The coastal path leading to the lighthouse offers a pleasant stroll with a privileged view of the ocean. You'll come face to face with a freestone edifice, built in 1901 and named after the cliff on which it was built. Although no longer in use, it still offers a magnificent view of the Gironde estuary and the port of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne. Le Petit Futé strongly recommends climbing the 144 steps! Although part of the gardens are closed to the public, the site is well worth a visit.

vue à 360°
Très jolie vue sur l'estuaire, la côte et le phare de Cordouan. A l'achat du billet il vous est proposé des jumelles pour mieux distinguer les beautés du paysage. Montée facile si l'on prend son temps. Seul bémol les tableaux explicatifs en haut du phare sont vieux et complètement illisibles, dommage car on ne sait pas toujours ce que l'on voit quand on n'est pas du coin!
