Monastery founded in 1922 in La Rochelle. Poor Clares moved there in 1993, and a new community took over in September 2017. The Poor Clares of Rameau are part of a movement created in 1979, the Rameau de Sion, following the inspiration of Marie-Paul de la Trinité. In Nieul, the sisters welcome, by reservation, singles, couples, nuns, priests, or anyone looking for a time of relaxation or rejuvenation in solitude and silence.
