The village of Le Gua stretches along the banks of the Seudre and the Pelard channel. It is surrounded by marshes, farmland and woods with evocative names such as Chantemerle, Grand-Bois du Colombier... In the heart of the village, along the winding streets full of flowers, discover the vegetable gardens, the old wash house and come back near the Saint-Laurent church (12th century), in Romanesque style, whose bell tower is classified as a Historic Monument. Ideas for walks or bike rides in Le Gua between the short circuit (1.15 km) with a departure from the Tourist Office or long (7 km), called "le chemin des Saloches" (small stone shelters also called "Tourettes").
