A friendly ostresiastic shack with slate gray shades on pilgrimages, in the heart of Oléron Castle harbor, just steps from the Citadel. The place bears its name: everything here breathes the spotlight and the holidays. We're sitting on bar chairs to get to grips with eating booths where you'll be served, in bark plates, all kinds of seafood. Several formulas are chosen, with oysters, shrimps, bushes, trout or smoked salmon. All accompanied by a glass of local wine, bread and butter. The whole is very cool. The oysters, open on the spot, come from the clear houses of the Gaboriau house, based in Dolus-d 'Oléron. If you have a little room, you must taste the cake of Oléron, a local specialty with almond powder.
