With its many hamlets and oyster ports, Dolus offers a wide variety of landscapes. The village, with its low white houses and narrow streets, has preserved the traditional character of its habitat. You can admire the church of Saint-André with its furniture - high altar, carved wooden altarpiece, its entrance pillars and its saintongeais bell tower, the only one on the island of Oléron. To the west, there are large sandy beaches with cycle paths, all of which are good places to swim! To the east, there is another activity: oyster farming. The port of Baudissière is an atypical place with its rehabilitated wooden huts.
