Getting lost in Lesterps is a must, firstly because the village isn't overly large, and secondly because you'll find some very interesting traces of the past. The ruelle Charrière-de-la-Seytarade, a former craftsmen's quarter, is lined with 12th-century houses and a fine 14th-century residence. Nearby, see the Fossés-sous-Bouteville, where an aqueduct once ran. Through the "champ de foire aux cochons", the stroller follows a 13th-century street with, a little further on, the 11th-century Seigneurs Abbés tower. Next to the covered market and fairground, the château de l'Abbé, built in 1702, is now occupied by the Brothers of the Resurrection.
