The Xaya (the "chai"), a popular establishment for the Luziens, just a stone's throw from the Place Louis XIV and the port, has become, with Frédéric Grobost, a passionate amateur chef, one of the most beautiful addresses in the city of the Corsairs. A successful bet on the cooking side with a talented and committed team of "capés", working with the products of local farmers and market gardeners, respecting the agriculture of the living. In the dining room, a warm and cosy atmosphere, where Erika Sellier's original and poetic paintings are on display, and impeccable reception and service.

Opening time and information on XAYA LA CAVE GOURMANDE

Open all year round from Monday to Sunday for lunch and dinner (except Thursdays in low season) from 12.15 to 2pm and from 7.45 to 9.45pm. Reservation recommended. Market formula for lunch from 15 €, in the evening, à la carte (dishes between 18 € and 25 €) or Surprise menu (4 courses): 35 €. Holiday vouchers. Xaya...humm!!!!
Délicatesse,finesse,raffinement,et surtout de très beaux mariages de saveurs ,des cuissons non evidentes mais parfaites...le tout accompagné de vins sans pretentions (cependant excellents), on ne sait plus si se sont les saveurs du plat qui bonifie le vin ou juste, si le vin est Bon!??? Mes papilles se sont éclatées....merci aussi pour le service impeccable clou du spectacle ...Pigeon farci à la caille farcie hé oui du grandioses !

Des plats succulent cuisinés avec des produits locaux et frais. Excellente cuisine, très bon accueil . Une adresse à recommander sur Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
