Address near the port where the fish is honored with everything home-made for the gustatory pleasure.
If you like real Koskera hake - a delicacy -, Spanish style, parilladas to share, chipirons and other duck breasts, you will be served with our two companions, Yvan at the stove and Nicolas at the service. Here, it is fish above all (the grandfather was a fisherman) with Basque sauce, all "home" with the port nearby. Having fallen in when he was a child, Yvan, after a journey in Europe and in big French houses, comes back to his roots for our gustatory pleasure, in this district of Les Halles, a meeting place for gourmets from Luzern and elsewhere.

Open all year round. Weekly closing: Tuesday evening, Wednesday and Sunday evening out of season. July/August: Wednesday and Sunday lunchtime. Reservation recommended. Menus : 29,50 €, 74 €/2 pers. A la carte: about 35 €. Children's menu: 10 €. Suggestion of the day: 13,50 €. American Express, Holiday vouchers, Restaurant vouchers. Groups welcome (privatization possible, please inquire). The restaurant Pil Pil ENEA is present since 1998 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, behind the Halles district. We make it a point of honour to make your meal an unforgettable moment in a friendly atmosphere.
A cuisine of traditional dishes such as the famous fish soup as well as typical Basque dishes (hake, chipirons, parillada...). We source our fish from local fishermen.
Wines from tastefully selected producers to accompany your dishes, ask Nicolas for advice. He will help you discover the wine list on the slate. You will choose among the wines selected between 1er cru bourgeois, châblis, jurançon or the excellent Irouléguy from the Maison Brana
A room with 26 seats, decorated with fishing nets, bottles of wine and photos of fishing boats. It is best to reserve your table, for your lunch or dinner, at PiL PiL ENEA. You also have the possibility to privatize the restaurant for a birthday, a family party or an evening with friends.
