With its peat bog and its ponds, the commune is ideal for beautiful walks, either by boat or by hiking, in order to discover a remarkable fauna and flora. The commune is home to the Saint-Christophe church and is famous for its medieval history, notably for the Oppidum des Monts Caubert, an archaeological site dating from the Iron Age. A fortified site built on a hill, it was used as a place of residence and storage by the Celtic populations of the region. Discovered in 1882, the site has revealed numerous artifacts from the Celtic period such as pottery, weapons, jewelry and coins.
