Pomps is a small village of character, full of treasures such as the enchanting walks it offers along the Luy and the remains of its ancient past. In the 1990s, it revealed traces of Neolithic, Bronze Age and early Iron Age occupation. However, it is the 17th, 18th and 19th century farms, listed as historical monuments, that can be admired, as well as the 19th century mill, the manor house known as the "château", built in the 16th century and then redesigned in the 18th and 19th centuries, and the church of Saint-Jacques-le-Majeur , which houses a 19th century ombrellino and stained glass windows signed by Louis and Henri Gesta
