Read moreL'échiquier palois is a dynamic club that shows off its vitality. It is one of the biggest clubs in Aquitaine, with a fine record of tournament victories, a number of players qualified for the French Championships and even a young 2022 world champion in the under-8 age group! The club has over 200 members and is committed to a policy of training and initiation with the "classes en ligne" project, which enables all the pupils of the agglomeration community, i.e. over 1,500 youngsters, to be educated during school hours. The program includes internal and external tournaments, quick games, giant chessboard games and competitions.
