A typical little village on the road to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, with beautiful traditional Basque houses with Labourdine and Navarrese influences, the 16th-century Saint-Julien church, which replaced a 12th-century chapel, and the Sastriarena house, on the outskirts of the village towards Irissarry, which was once the secondary residence of the bishops of Bayonne. Numerous hiking trails, including the Laka waterfalls and the Baigura mountains. Also worth a visit is the artisans' village on the outskirts of the village, featuring the best of Basque craftsmanship: Brana distillery, Arnabar, Goicoechea pottery, Don Quichosse espadrilles...
