Epagne-Epagnette is located 4 kilometers from Abbeville on the "Rue d'En-Bas", in the footsteps of André Maurois. Here you'll find the brick-and-stone Château d'Epagne, built in the late 17th century and preceded by a formal garden, which was home to the famous writer during the Great War. It was here that he wrote his book The Silences of Colonel Bramble. Also worth a visit is Château d'Epagnette, built in the 18th century in place of a seigneurial dwelling, and the 17th-century church of Saint-Michel in Epagnette, built in place of a 13th-century building and featuring a 16th-century altarpiece.
