The Mur d'Oloron is one of the highest in France, which means that for climbers, it is a reference! It has been in existence for over 15 years but its many evolutions make it a fabulous playground. More than 2,000 m² of climbingspace, about forty relays, a height of 21 metres in the high slope and 15 metres in the slab and vertical sectors, 130 different routes, from the easiest to those reserved for the world's best specialists, a 35-metre linear block with varied and fun inclinations... The room is impressive and its overhangs are breathtaking. In addition to an international challenge, the Wall is used as a framework for numerous competitions, some of which are trans-Pyrenean, and for beginner to advanced level training courses. We owe this dynamic to the eponymous association, which to date has more than 500 members, 1,500 day passes throughout the year and more than 100 students welcomed each day. At the same time it is here that the "24 hours of the wall" event takes place, a crazy project which is an international climbing open and attracts climbers from all over the world for extraordinary sporting moments.
