The commune of Authuille and its 200 inhabitants do not lack assets. Among the must-see places to visit, let's mention the Saint-Fursy church and its stained glass windows which are worth a visit. Also, at the end of the Great War, Authuille was chosen to host the Thiepval Memorial. It is a monument built in homage to the missing soldiers of the Somme. On your way, you will also be able to admire the stele, the bench and the plaque, in tribute to the British soldiers. Authuille has three British military cemeteries, fallen during the Battle of the Somme: Londsdale Cemetery, Authuille Military Cemetery and Blighty Valley Cemetery.
