With its green and pleasant setting, the commune of Vineuil-Saint-Firmin gathers several buildings classified or registered as Historic Monuments, including the castle of Saint-Firmin. The latter is located in a garden adjoining the park of the castle of Chantilly, from which it is visible. Built in the 15th century, it is classified as a historical monument. Neoclassical in style, it was used as the main residence of the Montbrison family and as a fortress to protect the inhabitants of the region against invasions. It is now open to the public for visits and used regularly for cultural events.
