The village of Troissereux and its large, well-built stone farms contrast with the dominant brick of the villages located further north. You will notice that most of the tourist visits are concentrated on the castle which today, as in the 16th century, remains the real center of the village. Located 30 kilometers north of the city of Compiègne, the village of 1,200 inhabitants is famous for its historic building made of tufa stone and built in the 15th century by the lords of Troissereux. Now privately owned, the castle can be visited upon reservation. An opportunity not to be missed during your stopover!
