The village of Mendionde mentioned since the 12th century as Mendiodo and Lekorryan is the reunion of the former parishes of Mendionde and Gréciette. The church of Saint-Cyprien has been listed as a Historical Monument since 1925. It contains altarpieces, statues, paintings and panelling inventoried. In the Middle Ages the village was the stake between the King of Navarre and the King of England. At the foot of Mount Baigurra you will find the leisure centre, managed by the municipality, which offers tourist and sporting activities with rides on the little train, scooters, ponies and paragliding on the top of the hill.
