The village of Mendionde, mentioned since the 12th century under the name of Mendiodo and Lekorryan, is the reunion of the ancient parishes of Mendionde and Gréciette. The church of Saint-Cyprien has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1925. It contains altarpieces, statues, paintings and panelling that have been inventoried. In the Middle Ages, the village was a battleground between the King of Navarre and the King of England. At the foot of Mount Baïgurra, you will find the leisure centre, managed by the municipality, which offers tourist and sports activities with rides on a small train, scooter, pony and paragliding at the top of the hill.
