Crossed by the river Avelon, La Chapelle-aux-Pots (department of Oise), with a population of 1,670, is a quiet little town, located a stone's throw from the French Vexin regional national park. Beauvais, too, is only 15 kilometres from the town. You can visit the old train station, converted into Avenue Verte - a cycle path linking Paris and London -, the Trinity Church, the Pottery Museum, which traces the Brayon pottery tradition, as well as the Crapaudière kilns, built in the 19th century, the last remaining examples of this type of installation in the Beauvais area.
