While crossing this charming village, one will notice the very beautiful wooden halls built during the 17th century. They are the work of Marshal de Boufflers, the great man of Crillon where he was born in 1644. This military man distinguished himself in the service of King Louis XIV, notably during the famous War of the Spanish Succession. The Saint-Lucien de Crillon church houses a marble cenotaph - a funerary monument - representing him. Another must-see is the Anquetil Mill, whose wheel has been renovated by the locals and is now functional. The surrounding landscape is quite bucolic.
