Irouleguy, a village, an appellation, a vineyard. When one hears about Irouléguy, one thinks first of the wines of the Basque Country. It is also a small typical village of less than 400 inhabitants, on the edge of the Spanish border. Bordered by the Pyrenees mountain range, the village is located at an altitude of between 200 and 400 m, around which most of the winegrowers of the appellation are settled. This historic village is combined with a superb region of authenticity to discover. The Irouléguy appellation now has winegrowers not only in the village, but also in 14 other villages including Saint-Etienne-de-Baïgorry, Saint-Jean-le-Vieux and Ispoure.
