Sigournais is a commune with a rich heritage, starting with the magnificent castle. Also worth seeing is the 18th century fountain, wash house and gardens. Go and breathe in the Rochereau lake, the largest water reservoir in the Grand Lay valley (125 hectares). The " Sigournais historique " path will lead you through the village, whose church has a painted wooden altarpiece, its narrow streets, old shops and old houses, up to the very old village of Requerre, which was situated on the Roman road from Poitiers to Nantes.
