Read moreL'Auberge des Artistes is both a restaurant and a 5-room hotel, renovated in 2023. We like the modern decor of the dining room. The cuisine is not lacking in appeal. Traditional and homemade, prepared with finesse and inventiveness, it follows the seasons and favors local producers, as in the case of the Maillezais cheese aumônière. The plates are beautifully presented and generous, and the exotic is never far away, as in the fish returned from India or the pork cheek confit with spices. A pleasant surprise in the heart of the Marais Poitevin!
