Good value for money cuisine in a restaurant with an original decor and terrace overlooking the fishing port Les Sables-d'Olonne.

The pretty façade and terrace of this fishing port restaurant invite you in. The main room, with its trompe-l'œil façade and fountain, has a Provencal feel, while the next room, with its orange banquettes, has a trendy, cosy look. Upstairs, the^3rd room offers a view of the port. Zoom in on the specialties: oriental lamb tagine with pears and apricots, cuttlefish stew, sole meunière, planche du Marin, au banc d'écailler, seafood platters. And for a sweet conclusion: an all-chocolate raspberry terrine.

It's impossible to pass by without being attracted by the pretty Provencal-style façade of this fishing port restaurant. From the pretty landscaped terrace to the unique and tasteful interior decoration, nothing is missing from the pretty picture. Inside, there are several worlds, the main room with its trompe-l'oeil façade, its fountain and its mismatched antique furniture has a Provençal feel, while the room next door, with its orange benches, has a more cosy and padded look. Upstairs, the third room was pleasantly revamped in 2018 and has a clear view of the port. Let's focus on the menu now. Zoom in on the specialities that are always a hit, such as the oriental lamb tagine with pears and apricots, the excellent cuttlefish stew or the fish pot-au-feu. In the menu of the moment, we chose as a starter a salad of octopus or home-smoked yellowfin tuna, then a sauerkraut of pollack and scallops with beurre blanc, and as a delicacy, the chocolate-pear-ginger burger. For seafood lovers, the "banc d'écailler" offers fresh seafood platters.

Restaurant calme, service parfait, plats délicieux. Le mix des saveurs changent des saveurs des autres restaurants. Vraiment une bonne adresse. Nous l'avons découvert avec mon conjoint aujourd'hui et je pense que y reviendrons avec un grand plaisir vraiment! ????Bravo à vous ????????????????????????

Dzns le menu attention lorsque l on choisit "nage de poisson", c est un poisson servi avec le bouillon, mais sans riz ni pommes de terre. Quantité insuffisante...

Accueil convenable, cuisine pas à la hauteur, hélas, ragoût de seiches digne d'un traiteur de restauration rapide...
Saumon au reblochon et céleri d'une fadeur extrême.
Tarte au citron destructurée ( non annoncée au menu) consistant en un biscuit rond coupé en deux, de larmichettes de crème aromatisée au citron et de petites meringues de confiserie.
Les Fleurs de Thyms ont connue jadis leurs heures de gloire sur le quai du port de pêche.
O tempora, O mores.
Un point positif, un des rares restaurants ouverts en janvier au centre des Sables.
Pour information : menu 36 €.
Personnellement, à eviter sauf si vous êtes invités.
