Le Perrier is "a village on the water". It is currently the only commune on the Vendée coast to be awarded the "Station Verte" label thanks to the importance of its marshes and the development of natural areas, which cover 100% of the commune's surface area. The town of Le Perrier is an island surrounded by canals, the étiers. The town was famous during the Vendée wars, at the end of the 18th century or by the passage of Louis XIII in the 17th century. Turned towards eco-tourism, yawl and horse-drawn carriage rides during the summer season allow you to discover the richness of the fauna and flora of the Breton Marshes of the Vendée.
