A naturalistic beach with a view of the Ile de Ré just opposite, but can only be reached after a 30 m walk
At the tip of Arcay, 3 kilometers of beach stretch towards the bird reserve, southeast of the beach of La Barrique. Naturism is officially allowed since 1976 on the beach near the hunting reserve - Anse de la Barrique. This beach is the largest naturist beach in the Vendée. But it is to be deserved, it is necessary to walk more than 30 minutes to reach it, but calm is guaranteed. From the end, you can even see the island of Ré, just opposite.

La plage de la pointe d'Arçay offre une belle balade, à partir de la plage de la Barrique, il faut toutefois avoir du temps car la balade peut vite être longue. On y trouve de nombreux coquillages et la vue est agréable, avec notamment le pont de l'ile de ré et l'ile de ré.
