The Boisniard, a woman's success: Louisanne MoussetSince late March 2008, the Vendée can finally boast of a four-star hotel: Château Boisniard, located in Chambretaud, 5 km from the Puy du Fou. This vendéenne success is due to its dynamic owner: Louisanne Mousset. But let's go back the time… Not so long ago, since it was in 2005 that Louisanne and his husband Jean-Michel Mousset acquired the Château Boisniard and undertook huge work in order to make the "Boisniard" a flagship institution of the department. And it's done! Indeed, we must welcome the scale of the renovations made for more than 3 years. In addition to the 17 rooms offering an eclectic and personalized décor, some with furniture to Asian and Indonesian inspirations, recalling his passion for travel and his particular attachment to Asia (where his sons reside), the Boisniard offers other high-end services such as a spa, an aesthetic salon, a room service and of course a gourmet restaurant. One of the few hotels in this category, hundreds of kilometres to the round, the closest to Angers, La Baule and Île de Ré. Other originality of the place, which is reminiscent of the passion of Louisanne for the animals, the presence of an incredible parrot and not fierce at all, Gili, which makes the joy of the small and big. Dynamic, enthusiastic, courageous, ambitious, voluntary, creative… qualifiers are not lacking when it comes to presenting Louisanne Mousset, and it is no wonder that our Lady of Boisniard was consecrated "Vendéenne of the Year 2008".
