FÉDÉRATION DÉPARTEMENTALE DE PÊCHE DE VENDÉE

Fishing

The Vendée Federation for Fisheries and the Protection of the Aquatic Environment, which comprises 39 approved fishing associations, makes available to fishermen more than 4 500 km of water and 1 400 ha of reservoir restraint lakes. The presence close to the sea and the low elevation of the level explain that there are no first-class rivers in Vendée where all waters are classified as second class. From the fisherman to the predator of the predator, the Vendée offers you many rivers with a remarkable fish richness. One can cite the Lecourbe Nantes, Life which joins the ocean in St. Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, the Lay, the Vendée, the Lecourbe Niortaise and several lakes. These reservoir reservoir lakes are intended for the production of drinking water, and fishing activity is only one use among others.
