Located in the narrowest part of the island (800 meters), oyster farming is the dominant activity here. Go to the port of Le Bonhomme, a typical oyster-farming haven with its fishermen's huts. A cove with 8 km of fine sandy beach is a delight for sunbathers. The Les Moulins walking trail (12 km) takes in 23 others. La Tresson is the narrowest part of the island, less than 1 km long. Interesting for its large polders reclaimed from the sea in the 19th century. The village is the gateway to the port of Le Bonhomme. Pay particular attention to the Dune de la Tresson, which offers a magnificent view of the Atlantic Ocean.
