The Hermier chapel is bordered to the south by the Jaunay valley and its lake. The chapel was first a place of Christian worship which would have been installed by Lord Airemari, hence the name of La Chapelle Hermier. On the heritage side, linger in front of the chapel of Garreau, which was the busiest pilgrimage center of the lower Vendée maritime. Louis XIII would have come there after his victory over the Protestants at Riez. The other attraction is the lake of Jaunay. Several hiking trails allow you to discover the town and the Jaunay Valley: the "sentier du Pré", the "sentier Botanique", the "sentier du Lac", the "sentier des Souches" and the "sentier de Garreau".
